review: Conveniently located right next to Sakai Station, the spacious room offered a pleasant city view. The cleanliness was decent overall, though some dust collected throughout the stay. With a coffee shop and dining options nearby, it made exploring easy. The staff were mostly friendly, ensuring a comfortable visit. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-05-10}

The hotel is in a truly excellent location at the Sakai train station on the Nankai airport line from Kansai airport, 25 minutes from the airport. Excellent as a first stop after a 12 hour flight. Given the very frequent connections to down town Osaka (10 minutes away) it is also an option if one has business to do in Osaka, because it is in a comfortably quiet location compared to the very crowded and hectic city of Osaka. the hotel figures as 3* on the booking com site, but conveys the impression of a 5 * hotel.
The windows cannot be opened in the entire hoel and the room was much too warm, notwithstanding air/con (frequent feature in many Japanesee top hotels). Too expensive breakfast (around 20 €), but good and less pricy breakfast places nearby available. Very strict respect of the check-in time (not uncommon in Japan) at the risk of an extra charge.
